Sergei Kaminskiy came to the United States at the age of seven. Over the following two decades, he built one of the most awarded design-build firms in the country, Kaminskiy Design & Remodeling, recognized for excellence in 17 of its 20 years of operation.
Along the way, he noticed something the industry had overlooked. Homeowners entrusting the most significant transformations of their finest residences had nowhere to turn for a truly elevated experience. Contractors were transactional. Architects were disconnected from execution. No one was offering the kind of white-glove partnership that properties of this caliber demanded.
So he built it.

Proof of Capability
In 2025, Sergei Kaminskiy acquired the largest private residence in Alabama, a 68,000 square foot French château on 27 acres within the gates of Shoal Creek Golf and Country Club. Built in 1997 for a reported $26 to $30 million, the estate had stood abandoned for seven years before its restoration began.
Today, Kaminskiy Premier leads its full revival.
The Château is the 21st largest home in America. Its frescoed entrance foyer, domed cupola, and crystal chandelier represent craftsmanship of a standard rarely commissioned in modern construction.
